Mir is a display server under the Linux operating system developed by Canonical. It was originally used to replace the X window system in Ubuntu, but in April 2017, Canonical announced that it would abandon the development of Mir-specific display backend services, and develop it as a user interface with Wayland as the display backend, and in October 2017, it will be The original 1.0 release reverted to version 0.28 and greatly increased Wayland support.
