Recently, the Shifu IoT development community signed the openKylin community CLA (Contributor License Agreement) and officially joined the openKylin open source community.

Shifu is an open source IoT application development and management platform. The Shifu IoT development community provides users with a transparent framework for full-scenario device hosting and integrated software development. By using Shifu, developers can more easily connect, monitor and control any IoT device. At present, Shifu has provided framework hosting services for multi-industry subdivided leading enterprises, and has been honored as one of the 14 member units of the Industrial Internet Platform Testing Verification and Innovation Promotion Laboratory of the Industrial Internet Industry Alliance of China Academy of Information and Communications Technology.

Shifu’s innovative advantage is that it provides a bridging device interconnection solution through the digital twin technology in a transparent framework. As a cloud-native framework, the device capability module can be called and reused. The goal is to easily access various heterogeneous devices through configuration files structural equipment. At present, Shifu has achieved access to IoT devices through HTTP, MQTT, TCP Socket, RTSP, OPC UA and other protocols, and has integrated Siemens S7, Hikvision (HIKVISION) and other devices that communicate through private protocols.
