Gluon is a framework for developing desktop applications, built on the system’s installed browser (not webviews) and Node.js, and can be used as an alternative to Electron.
Unlike common desktop development frameworks, Gluon does not have a built-in browser kernel (such as Chromium) or uses a webview (such as Edge Webview2 on Windows),Instead, use your system’s installed browser, such as Chrome, Edge, Firefox, etc. Gluon is based on Chromium and Firefox The browser is used as the front end, and Node.js is used as the back end.
