Nanoc is a flexible static site generator written in Ruby, suitable for building anything from a personal blog to a large corporate website.

It’s a tool that converts content from one format (such as Markdown or AsciiDoc) to another (usually HTML) and lays out pages so that the look and feel of the site is consistent across all pages. Static sites can be deployed to any web server.
