After several beta releases, SvelteKit finally announced at the Svelte Summit Fall 2022 conference that it has entered the release candidate stage, to thunderous applause (video).

this means:

1. There will be no new changes that cause versions to be incompatible with subsequent versions
2. Countdown to stable release begins
3. New features are not yet fully developed
4. Documentation is not fully ready

SvelteKit is a framework for developing web applications using Svelte front-end technology, which satisfies application development of different scales and provides a very flexible and user-friendly file system-based routing architecture.
