Xcode 14.1 released its first beta version.
Xcode 14.1 Beta includes Swift 5.7 and SDK for iOS 16, iPadOS 16, tvOS 16, watchOS 9 and macOS Ventura 13. Xcode 14 version supports On-Device Debugging on iOS 11, tvOS 11, watchOS 4 and later, and the operating environment requires macOS Monterey 12.5 or later.
Apple tells developers that if you need to take advantage of the improvements in the latest SDK, you must build and test with Xcode 14.1 Beta. At the same time, the new ActivityKit framework has been launched in iOS 16.1 Beta and Xcode 14.1 Beta, and developers can use this framework to build real-time activities for apps. According to reports, through real-time updates, real-time activity can help users track app content. The app’s real-time activity is displayed on the lock screen and on the Smart Island.
“Dynamic Island” (Dynamic Island) is a new interactive UI launched by Apple for the new iPhone.
