I currently have a domain name but no website. Do I still need to follow the exact steps you indicated except I select I already have a domain name as you indicated? I only ask because I noticed in the newer version of hostgator, they have an option that is WordPress Hosting. Since I have a domain, would I go straight to that or follow your steps?

When I try to install a plug in it says I need to have an upgraded plan, I have already a WordPress account, but when I see you go thru host gator it doesn't ask you to upgrade… what am I missing?

How slow is using WordPress? I used Netfirms and it was so as molasses. Just to load one photo, it stalled and took 10 minutes pet photo to upload or to display last changes! What woukd be the solution for this??? From Canada
