| Sparrow is a project to build a low-power secure embedded platform for Ambient ML applications. The target platform utilizes RISC-V and OpenTitan. The Sparrow software includes a native operating system called KataOS, which runs on top of seL4 and (ignoring the seL4 kernel) is written almost entirely in Rust. Sparrow (and KataOS) is a work in progress. KataOS components are based on an enhanced version of seL4’s CAmkES framework. The key system service is the statically configured CAmkES component.
