A high-severity vulnerability in the WordPress plugin, WP Fastest Cache, exposes more than 600,000 websites to potential data breach risks. The plugin is liable to SQL injection, which allows unauthorized access to the site’s database containing sensitive user data. The flaw, flagged as CVE-2023-6063, affects all versions of the plugin prior to 1.2.2. The developers have released a fix in version 1.2.2 and advised all users to upgrade now.
