FreeFileSync is an open source software available for Windows, macOS and Linux. FreeFileSync is essentially a folder comparison and synchronization software that creates and manages backup copies of all important files. Instead of copying every file every time, FreeFileSync determines the differences between the source and destination folders and transfers only the minimum amount of data needed.

FreeFileSync 11.28 updates are as follows:

• recover from corrupted database files
• Save database files pair-wise as a transaction
• Fixed FTP access issue with Xiaomi “File Manager”
• Fixed filter full path detection for root directory (Linux/macOS)
• Fixed Recycle Bin repeated initialization bug (Windows)
• Fixed case-insensitive string comparison bug where i and ı were incorrect
• Round progress percentage numbers down
