IPython is a comprehensive environment that helps advanced computer users, such as programmers or developers, test or explore various features. Although Python comes with a powerful interactive interpreter that allows users to run tests without creating extra files on the target computer, it has some limitations in terms of user interaction with the software.

The three core parts of IPython include a highly interactive Python shell, a decoupled two-process communication model and an interactive parallel computing architecture.

IPython 8.7 is the seventh minor version after 8.0, and the updates are as follows:

• Boosted minimal hint toolkit to 3.0.11
• IPython now comes with py.typed mark, more types will be gradually added in the future
• Added configuration for code block format
