Bitwarden is an open source password management service that allows users to store sensitive information in an encrypted vault. The Bitwarden platform provides a variety of client applications, including web versions, desktop applications, browser extensions, mobile applications, and CLI versions.
A few days ago, Bitwarden updated the Desktop, Web and CLI versions, bringing the following updates:
Desktop
- Updated login flow to separate username and master password into separate pages
- Updated styling of select and formgroups for easier access
- Add folder in project view
- Add Duckduckgo mail forwarding service
- Show creation date in vault item history
Web
- Updated login flow to separate username and master password into separate pages
- New passwordless login option, allowing users to log in with authenticated devices
- Organizational administration tabs have been reorganized, such as the new Billing and Reporting tabs, to make common administrative tasks easier to spot
- Events triggered by SCIM will be logged from SCIM instead of Unknown
- SCIM API keys will be obfuscated by default
- Improved load times for web vaults and performance for accounts with thousands of vault items
- Handle verified emails when resending verification emails
- Add DuckDuckGo mail forwarding service
- Show creation date in vault item history
CLI
- Show creation date in vault item history
- Fix variable typo: EEFLongWordList -> EFFLongWordList
