The development of NetBSD 10 started at the end of 2019. After nearly 3 years of development, NetBSD 10.0 has finally released its first Beta version.
The announcement wrote that NetBSD 10 will be an important milestone in terms of performance improvement, especially that the performance of NetBSD 10’s multi-core operating system is much faster than previous versions. However, the current Beta version enables some additional kernel diagnostics, which may reduce performance slightly.
