In this video we are going to show you how to reset a WordPress website to its default state. We will use a free plugin to reset our experimental WordPress website. We used the Blocksy theme for the website that we are going to reset. As for plugins, we aren’t using many. Note that the reset plugin generally doesn’t remove your plugins and themes, it simply deactivates them. If you want to remove your plugins, you have do that manually.

The plugin that we are going to be using is WP Reset. It is a popular plugin owned by WebFactory Ltd. The plugin resets your WordPress website along with its database. You can start building your WordPress site from scratch. You just type in ‘reset’ and hit a button and that is how to reset WordPress website with WP Reset.

However, if you’re using any theme, WP-Reset might deactivate the theme and set the to any default Twenty Twenty theme. You have the option to reactive your current theme from WP-Reset options.
