This release of pgAdmin 4 includes bug fixes and new features. The main updates are as follows:

Note: The pgAdmin team has moved all issues from Redmine to GitHub. New issues can no longer be created on Redmine, any existing issues should be updated on GitHub (each Redmine issue includes a link to a new issue on GitHub)

Bugs/Housekeeping:

  • Ported schema diff, search object and rest of ERD components to React
  • Remove Alertify, Slickgrid, Backgrid and Backform
  • Fixed redirect vulnerability when user opens pgAdmin URL
  • Fixed an issue where pgAdmin failed to start due to bin path migration
  • Fixed due to parameter preexec_fn No longer supported issues causing backups not to work
  • Make sure the dump server function works in setup.py
  • Make sure the menu option to import/export servers is visible
  • Fixed an issue where columns added before importing/exporting data were not visible
  • Fixed ModuleNotFoundError when running setup.py to load/dump server
  • Fixed JSON editor’s text area not resizing with the dialog
