Cemu is a Nintendo Wii U emulator capable of running most Wii U games and homebrew. It is written in C/C++ and is actively developing new features and fixes to improve compatibility, convenience and usability.
Cemu is currently only available for 64-bit Windows and Linux devices.
It is from version 2.0 that Cemu is officially open sourced on GitHub.
Major changes
- Cemu is now officially open source
- Preliminary Linux version is already available, but please note that it is still very preliminary
- Going forward, we’ve simplified version numbers by using shorter version numbers (2.0, 2.1, 2.2, 2.3…)
- Updated all dependencies. Most notably SDL (input and motion) and wxWidgets (user interface)
