Data upgrade
The latest version adds a data upgrade script for upgrading from Neuron 1.x to 2.x. At the same time, after Neuron 2.2, the data upgrade is integrated in the installation package. After the introduction of SQLite in Neuron 2.2 to store Neuron configuration information, Neuron adopts SQL schema to manage the version of the data storage organization format, which is convenient for data upgrade when the version is upgraded.
Key data statistics and event notifications
Neuron will provide a data statistics plug-in based on HTTP and MQTT in version 2.3 to feed back some key data and key events in Neuron.
The statistical information is mainly the statistics of north-south node data, including the number of nodes, the number of running nodes, the number of nodes disconnected from the device, the number of points configured in the south-bound node, the number of bytes of data sent and received by the node, the number of instructions, and Some more detailed state information in the node, such as the delay between the device and so on.
Event notification is mainly within Neuron, and some key changes are used as events to notify the outside. Such as adding, deleting and modifying the relevant configuration and point information of the device, establishing and disconnecting the connection between Neuron and the device, etc.
Among them, the HTTP Server-based interface will summarize statistical information and events in a data format that conforms to the Prometheus specification, which facilitates access to the Prometheus monitoring system to monitor and manage Neuron and its equipment.
