In this version, we have brought the long-awaited prometheus exporter protocol support (it has finally come after a long wait 😭, thanks to Xingchen for its contribution 🎉), that is, hertzbeat can monitor the prometheus exporter ecology!
We also support observability monitoring support for the high-performance API gateway Apache Shenyu and the time-series database Apache IOTDB. Now install hertzbeat and add monitoring corresponding to shenyu or iotdb on the page to replace the previously cumbersome prometheus+alertmanager +grafana profile configuration.
We have also updated the UI layout, improved the interaction logic, fixed multiple bugs, and supported SMS notifications. Come and try it!

Only one docker command is needed to install and experience hertzbeat: docker run -d -p 1157:1157 --name hertzbeat tancloud/hertzbeat

One More Thing I just want to tell my friends at hertzbeat that for some reasons, we will continue to move forward and engage in open source full-time! The plan is to give myself half a year to see the effect, and if it doesn’t work, I will go to work. In the first half of the year, we will devote ourselves full-time and accelerate the iteration of product functions. We welcome your comments and issues. At the same time, we have also started to pay for the PRO version of the cloud monitoring saas service tancloud.cn. After all, we are full-time, and we must find some profit points to buy bread for life. Friends with conditions and needs are welcome to buy.

For the sake of bread and milk, we will also launch an enterprise version next, and friends in need are welcome to consult. When the enterprise version is launched, some friends will say, look, the end of open source is the payment of the enterprise version. Various restrictions in the open source version make the open source project a demo that can only be used for display, and finally I will find you to buy the enterprise version. It can be said responsibly here that it will not. The open source version of the later iterations will not have any resource restrictions, and the number of monitoring license restrictions will be messy. The open source version and the enterprise version will always keep in sync with each other in terms of monitoring functions, monitoring numbers, and alarm functions.

Open source will always be 100%, and we don’t think that users who use open source projects and don’t give benefits are called prostitutes. Open source is originally free for everyone to use, and we don’t mind these. What is free prostitution? Those who do not abide by the apache agreement, package your things and sell them for money, and then lie to you to give him free technical support, say that you have to pay for them and then prostitute you for free, and you do private work for him. These are called prostitution. I have also encountered them this year. After all, the forest is so big that there are all kinds of birds.
