GNOME 42.8 was officially released recently, which is the eighth Point Release of the GNOME 42 desktop environment series. GNOME 42.8 brings more bug fixes and maintenance updates. GNOME 42 remains supported until the upcoming GNOME 44 release at the end of March 2023.
