Manticore Search is a high-performance search engine developed in C++, created in 2017, and its predecessor is Sphinx Search. Manticore Search takes full advantage of Sphinx, significantly improved its functionality, fixed hundreds of bugs, almost completely rewrote the code and kept it open source! All this makes Manticore Search a modern, fast, lightweight and full-featured database with excellent full-text search capabilities.
