Canonical has upgraded the Ubuntu Pro subscription service from a beta release to a GA release.

Ubuntu Pro is an expanded security maintenance and compliance subscription program from Canonical, originally designed for large enterprise customers who provide global services, because such customers usually want their infrastructure and applications to have more long-term stability.

Ubuntu Pro is a more comprehensive product than standard Ubuntu, extending security coverage to thousands of applications in addition to providing extended security updates for critical, high, and moderately common vulnerabilities Programs and toolchains, including Ansible, Apache Tomcat, Apache Zookeeper, Docker, Drupal, Node.js, Puppet, Power DNS, Python 2, Redis, Rust, WordPress, and more.
