The Document Foundation has released LibreOffice 7.3.6, the sixth maintenance update in the LibreOffice 7.3 office suite series, bringing another layer of bug fixes and improvements:
- Extra lines appear when rendering selected SVG in LibreOffice
- Spreadsheet crashes when exporting to MS Excel 2003 XML
- Crash when closing a document after changing and saving it
- MS Word 2019 cannot open odt files with tables created by LibreOffice
- CSS class redefinition is ignored inside SVG
- “Create” and “Start from first slide” icons in Breeze theme look the same
- SVG: padding attribute for uppercase letters doesn’t work
- Table Properties dialog turns black when data source/content type is changed
- Further improved compatibility with MS Office suite’s proprietary document formats, such as DOCX, XLSX and PPTX files.
The next and final minor release in the LibreOffice 7.3 office suite series will be LibreOffice 7.3.7, currently scheduled for release in early November 2022. After this, users will be advised to upgrade to the LibreOffice 7.4 office suite series.
